Gosh, I hate so many things. How about this for an opener? 'to float'. The context is a branch meeting in a bank. One of the older guys is totally out of his depth but hasn't said anything for the first 45 minutes of the meeting - he feels under pressure to say someting. Hijacking the thoughts of Greg (who's said a lot already) he says, "can I just float an idea here - we could do with exploring Gregs earlier idea regarding chits" Great idea. Gosh, I hate so many things.

The intention of deploying the 360 clusterbomb is to showcase what a creative, blue sky out of the box, lateral collateral thinker you really are while actually moving the conversation forward not one whit.
