I think you’ve hit on the convergence of TV and Internet culture that will result in the most desperate acts of attention-getting since, well, the last My Space page that was just created by a 18 year old.

absolutely Py. We used to have a programme called The Word in the UK and they had a bit called “I’ll do anything to get on TV” : people would drink sick, lick people’s armpits etc just to get on TV. MySpace is giving these people an even more opportunity for stupidity
