If the y axis is increasing belief in ghosts what increases along the x axis to give us the classic x=y shape line graph?

I must admit to being royally dicked off that http://www.humour-blogs.com never see fit to mention the plooptionary even though it rates rather highly on the right sidebar of the site.  Anyone got any simple gags that could convince them otherwise?
